“…For, indeed, that a notable miracle has been done through them is evident to all who dwell in Jerusalem, and we cannot deny it.” _ Acts 4:16
REFERENCE:
Peter and John had worked a miracle on a man born lame; he could now walk. That caused no little stir in the city, and a crowd gathered to them, to whom they preached. It ruffled the feathers of the priests, captain of the temple, and Sadducees. They arrested the apostles and jailed them overnight to decide their matter the next day.
While adjudicating their matter, it was obvious that they could not further detain them or imprison them. All they could do was threaten and release them. They saw how bold these two untrained and unlearned men were and concluded they had been with Jesus. They could not detain them because they saw ‘the lame man’ they knew now walking. Verse 14 says, “And seeing the man who had been healed standing with them (Peter and John), they could say nothing against it.” Nobody argues against proof; seeing is believing. This experience bolstered Peter and John’s faith to wax stronger in preaching the gospel and praying for more sick people.
God has the ability to do something in your life that will shake your city. A notable miracle took place in the life of this man. He could not walk, but he now walked; he sat by the roadside, but later went into the temple. He was ‘carried’ by friends, but not any longer. How would it feel to have been this man? I don’t know where you need people to carry you, or in which area of your life you are weak or looking up to heaven for a miracle. Have men written you off, saying you came too late, from the wrong family background, or you are stuck and too old? God has His eyes on you; your story will end with testimonies of favor, goodness, and prosperity. This man was 40 years old, yet, God picked up his file. It is never too late for you; it’s your turn for a turnaround!
Everyone knew this man in that community; this was why his healing and testimony caught their attention. God will likewise change your story. No one could deny that he was recovered, redeemed, and released to live a meaningful life. There was a night and day difference between who he was and who he became. God did a remarkable work in his life…a notable miracle.
This week, may God do a notable and undeniable work in your life, something nobody can contest or debate. It will silence all those who mock you, who think it is all over for you. I decree a total transformation over you and all that concerns you. May God take you to the ‘Mount of transfiguration,’ and change you completely. You may be 40, 35, 52, or 68 years old, it makes no difference to God; you are not too old for His intervention. May God answer you speedily and give you a turnaround testimony, in Jesus’ name.
