II Corinthians 5:17-20
An ambassador is the highest-ranking official of a diplomatic service with authority to serve as the “official representative” of his/her country in a foreign land. As a Christian, God has called you to serve on this earth as His ambassador from heaven.
Your function as God’s ambassador, is to further His policies here on earth, i.e. ensure that His will is done on earth as it is in heaven. The will of God is for none to perish, but that all men will come to repentance; therefore it is your core duty to reconcile the unsaved to Christ by ‘marketing’ the Gospel of Christ to them.
Again, God wills it that men will be free from every oppression of the devil. Thus, you were given the authority to use the name of Jesus, when you pray to stop whatever represents the forces of evil from operating in the affairs of men.
As an ambassador, you have been given diplomatic immunity against any satanic assault. You are entitled to heavens protection. So, the devil has no right to harass you. You can’t be arrested by any infirmity and kept bound in any demonic prison.
Most interestingly, as God’s ambassador, your supply and funding comes from your home country which is ‘heaven.’ Your wealth is proportional to the wealth of ‘heaven.’ not your country of residence. And praise God, there is no lack in Heaven!
