Any enterprise is built by wise planning, becomes strong through common sense, and profits wonderfully by keeping abreast of the facts. – Proverbs 24:3-4 (TLB)

Proverbs 24:3-7

A number of us have things God has committed into our hands to build; however, many of us lack the wisdom to accomplish these things and so sometimes, our projects become abandoned or the final output at best is poor. But as the saying goes, “Anything worth doing at all, is worth doing well.” Therefore, in the next three episodes, we will be looking at how to build a quality enterprise that lasts.

An enterprise is a project or undertaking that requires boldness and effort. Thus, an enterprise will include any undertaking such as: a business venture, a marriage, a ministry, a poultry farm, an educational qualification, raise children, gain financial independence, etc.

In order to build a successful enterprise, you have to start with a “Plan.” A plan is a set of intended actions (action steps) through which one expects to achieve a goal. It is a detailed proposal for doing or achieving a thing. Dr. Myles Munroe said:  “We invent the future by planning; therefore planning is the most important asset on planet earth.” He also said, “If you refuse to plan your life, other people (and even events) will plan for you.”

Also, the bible reveals to us that even God “PLANS” (see Jeremiah 29:11). Therefore, planning is the highest expression of our divine nature; we are at no time more like God, than when we are planning.

Hence, any organization that hopes to remain relevant must plan, so is any individual who wants to live an impactful and progressive life. If you want to sit under a shade tomorrow, you have to plant a tree today! DO YOU HAVE A PLAN FOR YOUR LIFE, FAMILY OR BUSINESS?
