Which having no captain, overseer or ruler, provides her supplies in the summer, and gathers her food in the harvest. – Proverbs 6:7-8
REFERENCE
Proverbs 6:6-11
Ants are endowed with relentlessness, – the ability to keep going despite the odds. Ants do not have overseers and captains but they are self-starters, self-disciplined, self-motivated and they get done what needs to be done. One of the most damaging traits that subverts and impedes the progress of people is dependency on others; it is a major problem when you can’t do what needs to be done without supervision.
We live in a cruel and callous world. Almost everything around us offers all kinds of discouragement. Every day we are presented with a thousand reasons to quit and stop making progress. You may not have anyone to motivate, mentor or supervise you to keep going, so you have to be your own encourager. Don’t wait to be prodded or scolded.
You need to tell yourself that you can do the impossible, see the invisible and leap over walls. If success doesn’t come after you, you have to go after it. The roots of true achievement lie in the will to become the best that you can become.
Don’t let your dreams die because no one is encouraging you, put action to them and work them till they work. Take a cue from the ants and get the job done!
May the WORKS of your hands bring you success this WEDNESDAY!
