“Do you see a man who excels in his work? He will stand before kings; He will not stand before unknown men.”~ Proverbs 22:9
REFERENCE:
You cannot write off a man ready to give himself wholeheartedly to his work. His commitment to excel in his work can make him bounce back from failure, revive his struggling business, restore his passion for life, and turn him into a prosperous man. A student who excels in work will move from failure to being on the honor roll, and an employee will become the boss.
To excel in work is to work hard at your work. It is a thing of pleasure and the root of productivity in every area of life. God Himself worked, and Jesus worked. In striving to excel in work, you will reach levels of creativity and productivity that will amaze your world. You will become a celebrity (or celebrated) in your chosen field or career. You can count on it.
A Chinese proverb says, “No one who can rise before dawn 360 days a year fails to make his family rich.” To excel in work requires sacrifice, diligence, and commitment to whatever you are doing. You continue when others stop, try when others give up, and you believe where others doubt. You are ready to make the ‘trade-off’ between what will stop you and your goals.
God promises the man who excels in his work that he will stand before kings and not unknown, unimportant men. Your work will speak for you; those who have been satisfied by your extra effort at excelling in your work will recommend you to others; in fact, the whole universe will cooperate to ensure that you journey to the front and the top in the affairs of this life. Commit to stay with your work for as long as it takes until you see the results promised you by God.
I pray that God will breathe on all your efforts and that the grace to excel in business, fashion, legal practice, construction, human resource management, etc., will be released upon you and all your legal hustle. May you excel in work until the ‘kings’ of this world recognize you. May diligence position you for notice, favor, promotion, or patronage. May anything working against you begin to work for you because you have chosen to excel in your work, in Jesus’ name.
