For there is hope for a tree, If it is cut down, that it will sprout again, And that its tender shoots will not cease. – Job 14:7
REFERENCE
Job 14:7-9 & 14
Continued from yesterday…
While some people fail backwards, others fail forward because they know how to handle failure. Common traits of those who fail backwards is: they often blame others for their failures, they repeat the same mistakes, they think they are failures, they limit themselves by their past mistakes and they quit trying.
On the other hand, those who fail forward (use failure as a stepping stone to SUCCESS), often take responsibility for their failures, they learn from their mistakes, even though a failure occurred in their lives, they don’t see themselves as failures but dare to take new risks and they persevere.
In order to bounce back from failure, first you must realize that failure is not fatal, but failure to learn from it and change is the fatality. Secondly, check your attitude so you don’t fall into self pity & shame. Thirdly, forgive yourself or whoever caused the failure. Fourthly, ask yourself, “What am I supposed to learn or take out of this experience?”
Fifthly, like David in I Samuel 30:8, inquire to know what God is saying to you. And finally, go and start all over again – there is no greater failure in life than the man who has stopped trying. In all, let your desire for success be greater than your fear for failure.
It does not matter what life has thrown at you, you can still make it. Keep your hope fixed in Christ and you will bounce back like the tree that budded at the scent of water.
I declare you are unstoppable in Jesus name!
