REFERENCE:
Our reference scripture gives a note of hope to a people who have suffered for the sins of many generations and have been sent into exile and captivity. God promised restoration, prosperity, agricultural excellence, and all-round comfort. This promise was a pivot upon which their story changed – from captivity, bondage, slavery, etc., to freedom and welfare. God told them that their painful experience resulted from their fathers’ sins, but no more.
Because of this, God said a famous adage in the land will be used no more: ‘The fathers have eaten sour grapes, And the children’s teeth are set on edge.’ In other words, no power of hell or human scheme has the right to demand payment from you for the sins or errors of your forbears. If you have experienced patterns of misfortune and pain as a family, no more.
God is invalidating any parental sin that has given rise to the operations of evil patterns in your life. You may have noticed cycles of failure, mid-life sicknesses, yearly sorrow/loss in the family, marital disappointments, etc., in your family, but no more. The cycle of starting well but ending poor that has characterized the males in your family is destroyed by this promise. No more!
God told Judah that just as He witnessed their being plucked up, broken down, thrown down, destroyed, and afflicted, He would now watch over them to build and plant them. God is aware of the tears that have characterized your family in the past years; He sees the shame, fruitless efforts, marital strife, difficulty having children, etc. Today, the Lord arises for your U-turn. The old order is destroyed, and God initiates a new order of all-round prosperity and success.
Suppose your life has been a story of untimely deaths, family crises, destructive addictions, bondages, fear, stagnation, etc. God says, NO MORE! You don’t have to suffer for what you know nothing about. You will do better and end better than those who came/went before you. God will start a new order with you and make the glory of your latter greater than your former. The Egyptians you see today, you will see them again no more. Rejoice; God’s mercy now surrounds you!

PRAYER:
I resist and break every evil pattern that rendered my ancestors useless and irrelevant in their generation. I receive total deliverance for my family from every evil cycle. I lift every satanic limitation and embargo over my life. I operate under an atmosphere of favor, mercy, and grace.
I will no longer pay for our forefathers’ sins, errors, or idolatrous oaths. Thank You for the promise of better things concerning my family – the glory of my latter shall be better than the former.
