Then Elijah said to Ahab, “Go up, eat and drink; for there is the sound of abundance of rain.” So Ahab went up to eat and drink. And Elijah went up to the top of Carmel; then he bowed down on the ground, and put his face between his knees… I Kings 18:41&42

We ended yesterday with the thought that God is the supreme source of power; and that nothing yields in the realm of the spirit, unless to a higher power. Therefore, when you come in the authority of God, the only true Potentate, you have power over all powers, but the place to activate or generate that power is in the place of PRAYERS.
Although God told Elijah He would send down rain to water the earth, Elijah did not just fold his arms, but went and prayed, because he knew that power was needed to bring the prophetic word to pass. A cell phone without power may have all the potential, but it will not accomplish anything. No matter how smart the phone is, how expensive or what features it has, etc., without power, it will accomplish nothing. But when you connect it to electricity…you charge it with POWER. Prayer is like that connector cable to God – the Source of all power. It downloads God’s power in you to bring out your potentials; and then you are able to generate power to change circumstances.
You must therefore make out time to be in the place of prayer. That is where you have authoritative and legislative (lawmaking) powers – ‘whatever you bind/lose, will be backed up by heaven’, you can open and close or permit and disallow with your prayers. Faith rises, miracles take place, encouragement comes, assurance returns, and peace prevails when you pray.
Also, in the place of prayers, you can make decrees, reverse verdicts, establish favorable patterns, set spiritual boundaries and protection around you and your loved ones; and enforce God’s kingdom in your life & in your sphere of influence.
Remember, as Christians, our struggle on earth is not against flesh and blood, but against principalities and powers. Let’s stay plugged in to God through prayers, so we can get the desired results in our lives.

TO DO:
Itemize three issues you need God’s intervention in; issues that need power generated for them to turn around, then pray in the Spirit as led by God over them. I believe you will testify, in Jesus name!
Amen. I will testify over my LIGHTHOUSE and relationship soon.
It is really amazing how a simple prayer can yield great results. Prayer is indeed a powerful and effective tool for easy purposeful living.
Amen I will testify.. Prayers brake every yoke…..
My testimony is sure because i am connected to the greatest source of power. Amen.
