Nor was there anyone among them who lacked; for all who were possessors of lands or houses sold them, and brought the proceeds of the things that were sold. – Acts 4:34

Acts 4:32-35
If you do not understand the morality of prosperity, you will never see a need to be rich. There is great need for great prosperity. It is not to buy a big house, a big car or to live large but to be a blessing to many. If you look all around you, you will see someone who can’t pay rent, pay children’s fees, someone living in a dilapidated ramshackle place.
There will always be some widow somewhere, some orphan somewhere, somebody to help.
God wants us to be generous people, to support others with our substance and to free ourselves from the love of self and the love of money. He is the one who gave us all things and expects us to share those things He has given us with others, especially those of the household of faith.
This was the power with which the early church operated; their ability to share what they had with other believers and look out for one another caused great grace to be upon them. Also, signs and wonders constantly manifested in their gatherings as a result of their love, because there is no law against love and the power of God freely flows where there is love.
Let’s do practical things to help others today, let’s look for an opportunity to be a blessing, let’s allow the love of God freely flow out of us and thus, see His power flow through us as it did in the early church.
Go out to a WELFARE-minded Wednesday!
