THE FAITH PLUG

“Jesus said to him, “If you can believe, all things are possible to him who believes.”” ~ Mark 9:23

God is a God of limitless ability. The world He created and stories of many changed lives testify to this. God is as powerful today as He was yesterday, but faith is the plug that connects you with His power. He is moved by faith and not by whining or crying; without faith, it is impossible to please Him. So, replace all your worries, complaints, and cries with the faith plug.

Jesus was baffled when the boy’s father said to Him, “If You can do anything…help us.” He must have answered the man, “Do you know Who you are talking to, if I can? Do you not know that everything you see was made by Me? If I can?” Then He said to the man, “If you can believe.” That is, “My ability is not in question; do you have faith for what you are asking for?”

Faith is adherence to, reliance on, and complete trust in God. It is a universal tender as long as you are on the face of the Earth. All you will get from God will come on the platform of faith. Like the boy’s father, life will bring challenges and trials, but faith must stay plugged into God to receive the current of His power to pull us out of every trouble. Don’t let discouragement ‘dull your shine,’ get the faith plug and rekindle your trust in the God who does wonders.

God only fails when we fail to try Him. Stay connected to Him in faith; don’t stop trusting or give up on Him; He will not fail you. God didn’t fail Sarah when she plugged in by faith; she bore Isaac in her old age. He delivered Daniel from the lion’s den and spared Paul’s life in a storm. All through scripture, there is no record of a time when God failed those who had faith in Him.

No matter what confronts you, it is not beyond the scope of God’s power; it falls within His jurisdiction. He made the Earth, so there is no issue in the Earth realm that He cannot turn around. As you journey through life, do not neglect the faith plug. By faith, the elders of old obtained testimonies from God. When the boy’s father turned his faith on, he went home with a testimony. From today, may your faith produce great results and incredible testimonies.

PRAYER:

Heavenly Father, I Thank You because there is no other God besides You. I renew my trust in You, knowing that those who trust in You are never put to shame. I acknowledge that nothing is too difficult for You to do, and I anchor my faith on Your faithfulness. Please do much more in my life than I can imagine, in Jesus’ name.
