Seest thou a man diligent in his business? he shall stand before kings; he shall not stand before mean men. – Proverbs 22:29 (KJV).
DILIGENCE is one of the strongest forces on earth; it can make someone who has been labeled a failure excel and prosper exceedingly. Diligence, simply means doing something consistently until the purpose is accomplished.
God requires us to be diligent in all we do but especially in seeking an intimate relationship with Him, so no matter where we are in life (mountain top or valley), we will be consistent in pursuing Him.

If you must walk into your wealthy place, and stand before kings (reputable people), you cannot be lazy, indolent or lethargic when it comes to pursuing your dreams; rather like Abraham, you have to diligently pursue until you see the results you hope for. Abraham waited for 25 years to see the promise of ISAAC fulfilled, but he kept diligently praising God all through the waiting period – not letting up.
When you are willing to wait forever, you won’t have to wait too long! A lot of us get tired and impatient when what we’ve invested in for so long is about to yield results. A diligent man is not a sprinter, he is a long-distance runner… he does not easily give up because things are contrary around him… his DILIGENCE changes everything around him and his DILIGENCE eventually pays off!
May you walk upon your WEALTHY-PLACE this Wednesday!
