A woman, when she is in labor, has sorrow because her hour has come; but as soon as she has given birth to the child, she no longer remembers the anguish, for joy that a human being has been born into the world. – John 16:21

The first thing you need to know about any pregnancy is that there is the possibility of miscarriage. So you must be ready to guard your seed in prayer, ensuring that what God has placed inside of you does not go to waste. You must also protect it from the wiles of the devil because the devil can talk you into aborting it.
Secondly you must understand that waiting comes with pregnancy; and the closer you are to your due date the more tiring it becomes to go through with the entire process. But if you want a wholesome baby then you must wait for the process to be complete before the baby is delivered. While waiting, prophesy to your seed until you bring it to fruition. Use your waiting time profitably.
Thirdly, there is something called the due date; every seed or potential or dream has a due date, a time for its maturation. There is a right time and season for the seed you are carrying. Anything before the due date will be premature birth. Don’t be fazed by people who have gone ahead and delivered what they are carrying. Maybe what you are carrying is ‘big’, and that is why you are yet to deliver – remember, elephants stay like 22 months in the womb. Many businesses, ministries, ideas, etc., that were birthed prematurely are known to experience lots of problems.
Fourthly, there is the labor pain that comes with discomfort. It signals the time for delivery and you need to push in the labor room or travail to bring forth what you are carrying. Labor pain precedes every birth; the pain you presently feel about your circumstances may be a sign that it is time to ‘bring forth’ greatness.
Finally, you come to the point of bringing forth. Celebration erupts and joy overtakes every memory of the labor pain. Be mindful to follow this process carefully so that you can bring forth your ‘seed’ at the appointed time…without casualties. God’s assurance to you is that, “He will not allow you go through the labor pain without allowing you bring forth.”
