I know how to be abased, and I know how to abound. Everywhere and in all things I have learned both to be full and to be hungry, both to abound and to suffer need. I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me. Philippians 4:12-13

Philippians 4:12-19
Human beings have been known to do impossible things whenever they set their minds to it. If you believe you can do something, your mind will find a way to do it. Where there is a will, there is a way. What you believe sets the limits for what you become. You are a useful instrument in God’s hands. Nevertheless, God needs you to raise the bar in your life so He can reach it!
It is commonplace for believers to underestimate God. With our mouths we say, “Greater is He that is in me than he who is in the world.” But by our actions we depict ourselves as grasshoppers before the things that confront us in the world, In order for you to explore the seeds of greatness in you, you must overcome every hesitation, as well as the voices in your head that say ‘Don’t dare.’ Furthermore, you must come to a place of complete reliance on what God has done through the cross of Christ. That is why the super in you is the Christ in you. That is what Paul makes reference to in our main text; it boils down to God’s ability in you. In yourself, you are limited, but not in the strength of God.
Therefore, you must doubt your doubts and challenge those feelings of inadequacy; be bold in your belief that even you can do all things through Christ who infuses you with strength. The seed of God in you will cause you to ultimately sprout. Napoleon Hill said, “Remember, no more effort is required to aim high in life, to demand abundance and prosperity, than is required to accept misery and poverty.” Stop cheating yourself, stop limiting yourself and stop stopping yourself. Unless you believe you can, you can’t. All things are possible to him who believes (Mark 9:23).
I end with parts of this poem written by Walter D. Wintle:
“If you think you are outclassed, you are
You’ve got to think high to rise,
You’ve got to be sure of yourself before
You can ever win a prize.
Life’s battles don’t always go
To the stronger or faster man,
But soon or late the man who wins
Is the man WHO THINKS HE CAN!”
