Moreover the word of the LORD came to me, saying, ‘Jeremiah, what do you see?’ And I said, ‘I see a branch of an almond tree.’ ~ Jeremiah 1:11
REFERENCE
Jeremiah 1:4-12
Seeing is everything – the only time Jesus ministered to someone twice was a case where He wanted the person to receive his sight (ability to see). When your sight is dim, you make wrong choices, your progress is impeded, and you become fearful and uncertain of the future. Sure enough, the devil will like you to grope about blindly, unable to make a headway in life.
In today’s text, God asked Jeremiah what he could see because everything God will accomplish through a man will begin with a vision. Your vision will determine your future. Your progress in life is a function of your sight.
When you ‘see’ something God is showing you, possibility fills your whole being. It gives you courage to go ahead because you have seen ahead. You will dare to do what others are afraid to do and go places reserved only for champions. Suffice it to say that vision helps you to rise to your maximum potential.
So what do you see today about your career, family, finances, relationships, etc,? Do you see possibilities or walls that hedge you in? As a believer, God’s vision about your life stems only from His Word. Therefore, look into the mirror of His Word, reflect upon the truths He has spoken concerning you His elect, and run with that vision. It is only when you can see and conceive it in eyes of your spirit, that you can become IT!
May your FIELD of vision attract only possibilities this FRIDAY!
