REFERENCE Everywhere you go to today, everyone talks about the power of vision and the need to have a vision for one’s life. In fact, many get puzzled over their inability to find a worthwhile vision for their lives, and also for their organizations. Though good and powerful, a vision is not all there is to living a fulfilling life. If it were just that, anyone who can ‘see’ a preferred tomorrow will automatically live an amazing life…Not so – there is another important ingredient…People! One of the greatest gifts in life is having the right people around you. Every vision given to a person is for a people, and to be actuated by people. It’s true that without a vision, the people perish, alternatively, without a people, the vision will perish. People are your greatest assets – yes, the right people. Such people are called Partners in Purpose. When you cross paths with these people, your life experiences a trajectory towards success. They come in all shapes and sizes, and you need to recognize them, welcome them into your life and embrace their purposes in ministry. Jesus found these people in His 12 disciples, Moses found them in Aaron and Joshua; Gideon’s 300 men gave him overwhelming victory and as we see with Habakkuk, God told him he should let people know/see his vision, so they can join him in running with it. How do you treat the people around you right now; your friends, shop attendant, your children’s nanny or teachers, your staff or driver? Do you know they are ‘purpose partners’ sent to you? I pray that you will always be positioned in attitude to welcome and retain your purpose partners. I call them forth today, and when they come, may they be tirelessly committed to you, relevant to you & your cause, and always be available when you need them in Jesus’ name. So, don’t isolate yourself and try to go it alone, remember, without a people, purpose can be defeated! SCRIPTURE PHOTO
