“For the oppression of the poor, for the sighing of the needy, now I will arise,” says the Lord; “I will set him in the safety for which he yearns.” Psalm 12:5
REFERENCE:
Psalm 12:5-7
Although God lives in heaven, He is not far removed from His creation. His eyes behold all that happens on the earth. He visits the houses of the rich and does not neglect the dwellings of the poor and oppressed. A lot happens in a 24-hour day that you and I are unaware of, but God knows and cares. People around you may not know what you are grappling with, but your God cares. He is intimately aware of the smallest to the biggest events on earth.
God knows when a bird needs a nest for her young; He knows when the whale gives birth and when the lion hunts its prey. He hears the rumbling of the volcanic mountain before it spews out its lava. He guides the worm as it burrows into the soil. He is in every labor ward, prison, and bedroom. His loving eye runs to and fro the earth and sees the oppression of His children.
Are you dealing with a loss? Have you been given an unfavorable answer in recent times? Do you find it difficult to afford the things you used to, or is there a desire that has been delayed? Do not lose sight of God’s love and faithfulness. Your God cares; He will hear and respond to your groans today and give you a mighty, positive, and supernatural turnaround.
I have been through situations that seemed so dark and stormy when I felt God was unaware. At some point, I wondered if I was even on God’s mind or if He had a plan for me. Yet, I have seen God come through for me over and over. Everything is not all rosy now, but I have come to know that even when I can’t see the hands of God, I trust His heart, His heart of compassion.
God told Moses, “I have surely seen the oppression of My people who are in Egypt, and have heard their cry because of their taskmasters, for I know their sorrows. So, I have come down to deliver them.” God sees, hears, knows, and will surely come to deliver you. You are never without help, hope, or God. He is with you and will deliver you. Your God cares. As you go into today, may He arise for you as your helper; may you experience His love and care. Amen.
