“Now may He who supplies seed to the sower, and bread for food, supply and multiply the seed you have sown and increase the fruits of your righteousness…” – II Corinthians 9:10
REFERENCE:
God supplies our every need, whether bread to eat or seed to sow. He gives seeds to the farmer to plant and then good crops to harvest and eat. This principle of sowing seeds and reaping their harvests ensures the farmer always has seeds to plant to perpetuate a cycle of having to both eat and sow. God started everything using His word as the seed, and like a fruit, all He created has within it the seed to reproduce itself. So, whatever you believe God for already exists in seed form, and that seed is presently in your hands.
There have been occasions you received blessings from God; these were harvests of His goodness. Harvest time is sweet and enjoyable; the fruit of your effort, labor, investment, or a gift received. As much as you celebrate your windfall or harvest time with a joyous heart, remember that it is also a time to be wise, or your season of joy will be cut short. Wisdom requires that when you get a harvest, prepare seeds to sow to ensure your next one. If you eat all your harvest because of pressing needs you will set yourself up for failure.
Noah lost everything he owned when the world he knew got thrown into chaos and desolation. However, God told him, “While the earth remains, seedtime and harvest, cold and heat, winter and summer, and day and night shall not cease.” He wanted Noah to know that as surely as night gives way to day, the seed could usher him into a time of harvest, restoration, and prosperity regardless of the season of life. Your seed holds the key to your colorful destiny; God has ordained it to be so by a perpetual sovereign decree.
If the seed you sow will not increase in the harvest, there will be no need to sow; there will be no advantage. We often find it hard to sow because of prevailing circumstances, but your seed is your way out of your need. If you want to prosper exceedingly, never withhold your hand from sowing. Give your treasures, time, and skills to help someone. Your miracle is often in the place of sowing, not of waiting. Sowing is the key that opens the door to receiving.
Start today; sow a seed in the soil of God’s work. Use what you have to create what you have been promised. Be intentional in sowing, and let today’s seed produce tomorrow’s harvest. Give according to the future you envisage and the returns you want from God. Your prosperity is in your hands, not just in your mouth; so, don’t chant, plant! If you are in a place of loss and devastation like Noah, sow your seeds and recreate your world. The seed is the key.

REFLECTION
In life, there will be cold and heat, there will be day and night – good times and bad times – but if you can take advantage of ‘seedtime and harvest,’ (that is “sowing and reaping”), you will sail through the toughest of times. Do not say, “I cannot afford to sow”, I say to you, “You cannot afford not to sow!” Your wealth is in your hands; your future starts with what you have/hold because nothing is too little to multiply.
Thank you Lord for mercy drops 🙌🏽
The best is yet to come. My harvests are still in front of me. I can’t afford NOT to sow now.
This is the time to sow
This principle is working for me now. Harvests are answering to my sown seeds, giving me more seeds to sow again, in Jesus’ name.
I will be faithful to sow, and God is faithful to water my seed and bring the increase.
