Happy Easter Monday! Jesus is risen and sits on the right hand of God the Father in heaven. Journey back to the tomb after He arose from the grave. The women had spices to embalm Jesus’ body, but they met an empty tomb on getting there. They were devastated, perplexed, and shocked. Confused about what it all meant, two angels lifted their spirits by telling them, “Remember how He spoke to you, that He would rise after His suffering and death.” What joy that brought.
The women remembered that Jesus predicted His resurrection, and what they witnessed should not fill them with despair but exuberant joy. Why? Because they remembered how He spoke to them. Imagine the many thoughts that went through their minds, “Was His body stolen or moved to another location?” However, remembering His promise gave them joy.
When you go through complex and conflicting life scenarios, everything suddenly looks bleak, as though there is no way out. Life can throw surprises that leave you numbed and confused at you because things don’t look like your expectation. At such times, it is difficult to pray because you are overwhelmed by the facts on the ground or the impossibility of the situation.
Satan will want to keep you confused and sad, but as the angels at Jesus’ tomb said to these women, “Remember how He spoke to you,” God is saying to you, “Cast your mind back on My words of promise to you.” Remember what the bible says about your situation and your future. It takes conscious effort to do this because it is often not the natural thing to do. However, it will help to restore your focus, joy, and peace. It will renew your glow and go.
God is Almighty; He is all Powerful and can do all things. One thing He cannot do is lie. He will surely fulfill whatever promise He has given you in His Word. Besides, Jesus paid the full price for you to enjoy abundant life on earth. Therefore, arise from every depression, despair, and melancholy. Don’t let the hopelessness of the situation scare you; let the faithfulness of the God who made a promise to you strengthen you. Remember how He spoke to you in His word.

PRAYERS:
+ I thank You, Lord, for your numerous, infallible, and dependable promises to me in Your word.
+ Lord, when my heart is overwhelmed by life’s challenges, lead me to Your word.
+ Help me to always remember Your promises to me in times of difficulty. Teach me Your word O Lord, and help me walk in Your truth always.
Remember, in Isaiah 55, it says, His word will not return without accomplishing what it was sent to do.
Dicipher the Word of God. Assess the Word you receive daily, was it sent to provide bread or seed.

The thing with the word is that, it is both bread and seed. The seed is in the bread, and the seed can produce bread. However, the bible primarily refers to the word as ‘seed’; ẹ.g., parable of the sower, and as incorruptible seed.
Hence, our response must always be to receive in fhe word with faith in the God of the word, so that whether it is bread or seed, it will accomplish what it says.
I also sense you may be referring to bread as – a word that will materialize now, and seed as – a word that I need to wait for its manifestation. If this is the case, the response must still be faith, which always works in the NOW, believing and receiving ‘now’ what God says. The timing of manifestation is often with God, but faith must not postpone it’s expression till a future time; faith receives now…however, it waits sometimes to physically receive what it immediately received spiritually.
Lord, I rest in the fact that you do not and cannot lie.
