“Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might.” ~ Ephesians 6:10
REFERENCE:
The enemy wants to keep you defeated and clueless about your authority in Christ. Therefore, you must contend with antagonistic forces and seize it by force. In every contest, the stronger defeats the weaker, and higher forces dominate the lower ones. The only warrant you have to win over the devil and reclaim authority is to be strong in the Lord.
To be strong in the Lord means that you are fighting from a place of advantage. God has put you on as armor, and He is fighting through you; it is no longer you who is in the fray but God. Knowing this should fill you with boldness and confidence as you demand your rights and place in the school of authority. It should assure you that your days of being a victim are over.
Remember, the spiritual rules the physical, and that is where you have to take your crowns from. Hence, to be strong in the Lord is to be fitted and kitted for spiritual battles, ‘for we wrestle against master demonic spirits and forces of the darkness of this fallen age.’ Paul recommends these pieces of armor as your armor and battle strategy:
a. Prayer: Contend in prayers, praying all manner of prayers. Prayer routs demon spirits and opens the gates of heaven for access and the release of God’s promises. Add fasting too.
b. Righteousness: Refuse the voices that say you are unfit and unqualified for dominion. You have been made the righteousness of God in Christ, so walk and war in that consciousness.
c. Salvation: Some benefits and rights come to you with salvation. Never lose sight of them or be deceived out of them (Hebrews 6:9). Salvations gives you rights to ‘thrones.’
d. God’s Word: This is a sword that cuts through all lies of satan. Wield it by declaring it as the ‘truth’ that changes every contrary fact. It is spirit and life, and it performs God’s desires.
e. Faith: Faith is the victory that overcomes the world. It is your greatest asset against the lies (fiery darts) of the devil. It is the power that brings tangibility to the promises of God.
If you consistently do all these, you will be able to stand tall over all satanic assaults and reign as a king in your allotted sphere. You will inherit promises and fulfill your purpose. You will know the taste of victory, and once you taste victory, you want to have more of it.
You are not a weakling; neither are you a victim. The Spirit of God dwells in you. You have all you need to sit on thrones, walk in authority and take territories. Just be strong in the Lord.

PRAYERS:
Lord, I declare today that I am strong in the Lord, and in the power of His might. I am clothed with the Lord of Hosts; I overcome all contending forces of satan. I take back what is rightfully mine, and I reclaim my authority. I am not a victim, but the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus. God is with me and for me; and if God is for me, who can be against me?
