“Commit your works to the Lord, and your thoughts will be established.” ~ Proverbs 16:3
REFERENCE:
God is the author of breakthrough, but there is a part you must play. Just like the sun breaks through dark clouds after the rain, God wants to break you through the clouds of despair, discouragement, and debt. Listen to me; no matter where you are, all hope is not lost. God is not done with you yet; there are still beautiful chapters of your life He is writing presently.
A breakthrough happens when God and man partner to make something work. God is the senior partner in every move towards a breakthrough in your life, in-laws, and colleagues. Proverbs 16:3 is a scripture to memorize and easily recite continually, because it teaches how to convert our spiritual wealth into physical. We will continue to look at the ‘how’ below:
a. Let God Take Over: Your career, business, job, etc. Give Him the controlling shares. Run it according to His will; ask Him about every decision. Make a conscious effort to engage Him. You can write a dated letter to Him saying, “From today, this business becomes Yours.” Those who leave everything in God’s hands will eventually see God’s hands in everything. Give Him the 10% of your profit. All the tithe of the land is the Lord’s.
b. Give Your Business a Kingdom Priority: How does your business advance the purpose of God on earth? The day Peter gave his boat for preaching, his profit grew exponentially. The advancement of God’s kingdom through the salvation of souls is God’s priority. Get your business plugged in. Bishop Oyedepo said, “Where you place God in your heart is where He will place you in the earth.” Making God’s kingdom your priority makes you a first-class citizen on earth.
c. Maintain Joy: Joy is a trigger for unusual breakthroughs. Isaiah 54:1 says, “Sing, O barren, you who have not borne! Break forth into singing, and cry aloud…” Maintain joy; don’t let it wither. Always be thankful to God; sing over your family, business, career, etc. Do away with the voice of complaining and learn to praise God. Psalm 67:5-7 says, “Let the peoples praise you O God…then the earth shall yield her increase. God will bless us.”
God does not like oppression or poverty amongst his people. Neither does a life of struggling or sponsoring your life by debt glorify Him. O Lord, you are my breakthrough. Hand all that matters to you into the hands of God.
