If you are A SUCKER for men’s praise, approval and gifts, YOU WILL NEVER follow God.
This is still a question of BUYING AND SELLING:
Many have sold their conscience to buy a steady flow of ‘currency.’
Many have sold their conviction to buy and maintain a position.
Many have sold their voice to buy a man’s favor.
Jesus REBUKED these rulers because of their VALUE SYSTEM – they SOLD their CONVICTION about Jesus, so they could BUY a space in the CONGREGATION. In essence, they forsook the Light of the world and preferred to remain in darkness.
When you have A FAULTY VALUE SYSTEM, you will always end up with the WRONG BARGAINS in life. On the other hand, when you VALUE and ESTEEM God by choosing His will (Word) above the opinions of the world, your end will be ‘PEACE.’
DON’T SELLOUT! May you carry out wholesome TRANSACTIONS this Tuesday!
