Then He got into one of the boats, which was Simon’s, and asked him to put out a little from the land. And He sat down and taught the multitudes from the boat. – Luke 5:3
REFERENCE
Luke 5:1-10
Today we will learn from how Peter handled and overcame the frustration of a sinking business. Upon ‘loaning’ his boat to Jesus, the next thing Peter did was to sit and listen to the Word as Jesus taught the multitudes. He was there all along because when Jesus finished teaching, He addressed Peter.
When you are dealing with a frustrating situation, the temptation to stay home and not go to church is very strong; to read the bible becomes a chore, you don’t want to participate in any spiritual activity, and you tend to stay away from your brethren in the faith. However, that is the time to bathe your spirit in the Word; it is the time to stay where the anointed word of God is being preached, because ‘ONE’ word from God can change your life.
The Word is flesh to your bones; it brings healing, deliverance and restoration; so, give yourself wholly to it like it was medication prescribed for your bodily healing by a doctor. However, unlike physical medication that sometimes comes with side effects, the Word of God does not have any side effects, you can take it as much as you want without overdosing (OD) on it. Actually, the more the better.
Psalm 112:4 says, “Unto the upright there arises light in the darkness…” and Psalm 119:105 reveals that, the Word is light for our path. Therefore, the Word is the light you need to dispel any kind of darkness (dead-end, uncertainty, confusion) frustration brought into your life; it is the Word you need to come out of any frustrating situation.
Hebrews 4:12 makes us understand that the Word of God is active and alive; sharper than any double-edged sword. This means that the Word still retains its potency today as it was when it was first spoken. It can accomplish what it is sent to accomplish because it is not dead but alive! Remember that everything that we see came to be by God’s Word; it follows then that they can also answer to (or respond to) the Word. Likewise, the Word can cut through every frustrating situation and turn it around for a testimony.
Never forsake the place of the Word, the Word was here from the beginning, it began the beginning, it always produces results, and it is your ticket out of ‘Frustration Zone.’

TO DO
Look for the Word appropriate for what is causing frustration in your life and sow it in your heart; then declare that the Word sown in your heart will produce a hundred-fold harvest, to illuminate every dark area in your life and bring the desired result in Jesus’ name.
