HEARING GOD’S VOICE

My sheep hear My voice, and I know them, and they follow Me. – John‬ ‭10:27‬

Our God is a speaking God! He is always willing to instruct and guide us. Like a good parent, He wants to speak to us about our lives, families, marriage choices, business, financial investments, service to Him, ministry, etc. However, we have to consciously tune our ears to His frequency in order to hear Him.

In the midst of many voices speaking today – in our minds, music, the media and social media, political and economic analysts, medical reports and bank statements – if we are not careful, we may miss the voice of God and be overcome by fear and anxiety. But we can always tune in to God’s voice by tuning into His Word.

It is important to hear the voice of God, because between where you are now and where you want to be is an information or an instruction to carry out. John 2:3-9 records the miracle Jesus did by turning water into wine. Notice that the miracle only took place because the people carried out the instruction Jesus gave them.

There is a Word (corresponding instruction), that concerns whatever it is you are dealing with in life; follow that instruction today, and move to the next place God has for you in destiny.
