“Then you will call upon Me and go and pray to Me, and I will listen to you.” – Jeremiah 29:12
REFERENCE:
The word Partnership is a business term. It is a form of business where two or more people share ownership and the responsibility for managing a company, including its profit and losses. In partnership, both parties work together, leveraging the strengths of each other. Prayer is partnering with God to see His will done on earth. In this partnership, man needs God’s power to do God’s will on earth, and God will need a man to stand in the gap and be a willing vessel. So, when we pray, we are leveraging God’s power, authority, and wisdom in responding to the issues of our lives and our world.
God told Israel in captivity that after 70 years, He would perform His promise to deliver and return them to their land. His thoughts towards them were good and of peace; however, those thoughts did not reflect in Israel’s experience. The missing link was prayer partnership. God said, although I am ready to do these things, I would only be able when you call upon Me in prayers. Then I would touch every heart, open every door, and remove all obstacles that have withstood your deliverance. Of a truth, without God, we can’t, and without us, God wouldn’t. “It appears to me that God would do nothing unless men pray” – John Wesley.
Prayer is the oxygen of your soul; it should be a no-break-in-transmission, ongoing communion with God. Stay in uninterrupted, non-stop contact with God all day, knowing He is always near. David partnered with God in prayers; he prayed three times every day, just as Daniel did. Elijah partnered with God in prayers; he turned the heart of Israel back to God, destroyed idolatry, and turned a three-year famine around, all through prayer partnership with God.
Commit to a Partnership of Prayer with God: Go to bed early, so you can wake up early to keep a quiet-time appointment with God, no matter what is showing on TV or who visits. Proverbs 8:17b, “…those who seek me early and diligently will find me.” Jesus also kept this daily morning appointment (Mark 1:35). God is always online, ready to partner and fellowship with you in prayer. Keep this appointment with Him, aligning your day with His plans & purposes.
Teach your children too to get addicted to God’s presence early, to develop a prayer partnership with Him. There will be no fear of other addictions (drugs, pornography, teen pregnancies, illicitness, etc.) later in life because they will already be addicted to the Holy Spirit.

REFLECTION
There is tremendous power available in the place of prayer as it opens up channels in the Spirit, and anything can happen when it has been committed to God in prayer. He is the Lord, the God of all flesh, and there is nothing too hard for Him. As you plan your day, let prayer be a continuous part of it.
Enjoy the presence, guidance, and peace of God all day long.
The prayer of a righteous person has great power as it is working.
Amen!
Lord, help me to be a committed partner in prayer and may I learn to plan my day daily with you as the top of the priority.
Thank you Lord for the nudge to stay connected to you through my daily devotions.
