This man was asking for medicine after death. No right thinking physician wants to go administer treatment to a dead body, but Jesus is no ordinary Physician – He is Lord over both life and death – He is a Physician, even after death, for He is the resurrection and the life.
The fact that this man came to Jesus with a dead situation shows he had more faith in Jesus’ ability to turn the situation around than in the dead situation remaining dead. Sympathizers around him told him not to bother seeking help since his daughter was already dead, but he sought Jesus still.
Likewise, you may be experiencing a dead situation in your business, finance, marriage, career, health, or relationships today, but you must choose to take your eyes off the dead situation and focus them on Jesus, Who can raise the dead back to life and create new things out of nothing.
Reawaken your faith in His ability to turn things around for your good. No situation is hopeless or ‘too late’ for Him!
