MAKE ROOM FOR MORE – 2

“Enlarge the place of your tent, and let them stretch out the curtains of your dwellings; Do not spare; lengthen your cords, and strengthen your stakes.” – Isaiah 54:2.

In order to experience the fulfillment of God’s promise, there is a part God plays, and there is a part you must play. God will not do what He has empowered you to do. We are the legal operators in the earth realm; God has given us the authority to execute His will here on earth by our actions. God has promised to increase you; in making room for more, you need to:

Take Action! Determine what your next level is and take steps towards it. Extend your faith for more, give more, love more, and be more yielded to God. Nothing will move until you move. Decide to do better in your relationships, call your parents more, cut off toxic relationships, show more kindness to your staff, spouse, etc. If necessary, get information about reproductive health and (or) adoption, etc. Joshua 1:8 says, “…You shall make your way prosperous.”

Strengthen your stakes – A stake keeps the tent grounded; the rope that supports the curtain is tied to it. It is long and strong, driven deep into the ground to hold the cords and curtain. A weak stake will easily pull out, and the tent will collapse. Your stake is the ‘why’ for what you do. It is the Word of God and the picture of a preferred tomorrow that you are standing on. Write them down and pray about them. Your stakes need to be steadfast, immovable, rooted deep, and able to withstand the elements. When the winds blow and it gets hard, when you want to quit and throw in the towel, your stake is what holds you down and keeps the tent of your life from getting blown over! The stake keeps you grounded, firmly rooted, and strong.

To strengthen your stakes, remain in fellowship, and maintain your joy. Do not stop serving, do not stop volunteering, do not stop loving, do not stop leading, keep sharing the word, and do not relent in praying with all your heart. Your hours of experience are counting: you are strengthening your stakes, lengthening your cord, spreading your curtains, enlarging your tent, and your capacity for more is increasing.
