The man began to prosper, and continued prospering until he became very prosperous. – Genesis 26:13
REFERENCE
Genesis 26:12-19
There is nothing like BEGINNING something you have always dreamt about. God loves beginnings, because BEGINNINGS SPEAK OF FAITH, since beginning is a journey into the ‘unknown’ – for you have to CONQUER THE FEAR of ‘What if it goes wrong?’ BEGINNINGS could sometimes mean that you are tired of staying at a particular level or place and thus you intend to move to a higher level i.e. Upgrading to something better.
It is possible that you may have begun things (Projects, Businesses, Relationships, Jobs, Investments etc) in the past that didn’t quite take off fully or turn out as expected; yet God is telling you to forget what went wrong the last time and BEGIN again. The reason why Isaiah 43: 18,19 says you should forget the past and reach out for the new thing still possible in your future is because God already knows it is possible for you to get discouraged when your plans don’t work out as expected, so He says FORGET. And also because His promise as it regards ‘DOING a NEW THING’ for you can still be fulfilled.
Truly, you never know what you can do, achieve or become if you will only dare to begin, commence, start for the first time or the next time around. No matter how small the beginning is. “Do not despise the days of small beginnings.” God has promised, “Though your beginning was small, yet your latter end will increase with great abundance.”
God sees and will honor your faith as you embark on BEGINNING something that will upgrade your life in Jesus name.
So what are you still waiting for? Get started, get going, BEGIN!!!
