The keeper of the prison did not look into anything that was under Joseph’s authority because the Lord was with him; and whatever he did, the Lord made it prosper. – Genesis 39:23
REFERENCE
Genesis 39:5-23
Joseph’s prosperity and victories were not based on his intellect or position in life, they were not based on connections or capital, it was because of his relationship with God, i.e. the Lord was with him.
The passage clearly shows, that Joseph honored God in all he did, and depended solely on Him to make his dreams come true. That was why he resisted the temptation to sleep with Potiphar’s wife, which would have given him a shortcut to the top of his career.
Even as a slave and in prison, the presence of the Lord singled out Joseph and made whatever he did to prosper. In the same manner, your prosperity in life as a believer is not dependent on any external factor (your connections) or internal factor (your intellect), but on your relationship with God because He is the One who gives you power to make wealth.
So, regardless of where you are presently with what you do, no matter how small, confined or remote the place may be, just keep representing God in that place by honoring Him with your lifestyle (being faithful, walking in integrity, and acknowledging Him in all you do). And God who delights in your prosperity will honor you right back with mega promotions in due season.
