“Oh come, let us worship and bow down; let us kneel before the Lord our Maker. – Psalms 95:6.
REFERENCE:
Worship is the feeling or expression of reverence and adoration for a deity. To worship God is to be devoted to Him, to adore, stand in awe, and revere Him and His Majesty. Worship must be a habit for you to be a successful Christian, beginning with making God the Adonai (Lord) and Savior of your life. ‘Adonai’ is a Hebrew word for Ruler, Sovereign, Master, and Lord over all men, the heavens, the earth, and all its fullness.
The Greek equivalent of ‘Adonai’ is ‘Kurios,’ which means ‘lord or master.’ Caesar was the only one called lord, being the supreme leader of Rome around 30AD. Roman citizens would often say, ‘Caesar is lord.’ However, with the advent of Christianity, early Christians began saying, ‘Jesus is Lord!’ They meant that as the possessor of heaven and earth, the King before whom all kings bow, He was Lord over Caesar. Understanding the Lordship of Jesus gives worship its true meaning and positions you to give Him true worship.
Jesus taught that true worship is not a function of finding the right place but having the right heart. God, being Spirit, seeks sincere worshipers who adore Him in spirit and in truth. Worship should be done with reverence, focusing on the holiness of God in awe and adoration. It begins by living in obedience and honoring God with your life and words. It can be with words of adoration, songs of exultation, and by living a life yielded to God. True worshippers will know joy in turmoil, sing through a storm, the miraculous will become usual for them, and they will eventually know victory.
As a Christian, Jesus must be Lord over every part of your life; not just over some! Making worship a habit ultimately makes you more like Jesus in conduct, love, purity, and faith. It also strengthens your spirit, making you less prone to falling into temptations. Spend time every day singing songs of adoration and praise to God. Get a collection of songs on your device to sing along with or write out songs that lift your spirit, and use them in worship. Paul shows us the ultimate form of worship – “Offer your body as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to God—this is your true and proper worship” (Romans 12:1)

PRAYER POINTS
+ Thank You, Lord, for the privilege to worship Your Majesty and to sing of your death and resurrection.
+ I offer my body, intellect, will, desires, and my all to You as a living sacrifice; this is my true and proper worship.
+ I join the Host of heaven in worshipping You, who sits on the throne. To You be praise and honor and glory and power, forever and ever!” Amen.
Amen
May this voice of mine be daily heard in the heavens worshiping and adoring You, the most High God.
To worship You I live. Nothing else matters Lord.
Can there be any as great as our God? There is none deserving of adoration, worship, reverence like Him. It is before Him I should tremble and not men or situations.
