REFERENCE
Ephesians 6:10-17
A sword is a bladed weapon used for battles, especially in ancient times. Hebrews 4:12, makes us understand that the Word of God is sharper than any double-edged sword, potent in both the seen and the unseen realms. Therefore, using the sword of the Spirit means, using the Word of God to engage Satan and his minions in all forms of spiritual stratagem and warfare, and it is one weapon they have no answer for.
However, you must truly know the Word of God before you can effectively use it as a weapon. No soldier goes to the battleground with an unfamiliar and untested weapon, because that will be disastrous. I am not talking about just a head-knowledge but a working and dynamic heart-knowledge of the Word; and this can only come by continuous studying, hearing, and meditating the Word.
Unlike the other pieces of armor which are defensive by nature, the sword of the Spirit is an offensive weapon. This means, you don’t wait to defend yourself from the enemy’s attacks; you take the fight to his gates and put him on the defensive. How?
Let God’s word continually be on your lips about everything that pertains to your life. Before the devil attempts to frustrate your day, wake up and take charge of your day by declaring what the Word says about your victory in Christ into the atmosphere. Don’t wait till you fall sick, go on the offensive, constantly speak all-round wholeness and divine health over your body. Be bold to proclaim what the Word says about the heritage and prospects of your children (whether born or unborn), before life happens to them. Express how blissful your marriage will be, before you walk down the aisle. Voice-activate anything and everything you desire that was fully paid for by the blood of Jesus. You can’t afford to be silent, because a closed mouth spells a closed destiny.
Have you noticed that life most times doesn’t give you what you deserve; it only gives you what you demand…don’t stop laying claim to your rich inheritance in Christ Jesus; that is the way to maintain your victory as a Christian, and that is how you keep the devil in his rightful position – under your feet! Don’t just hang your sword on the wall, take it in your hand and wield it – it guarantees a life of victory!

Everything responds to the word of God.
That situation does not see me , it sees the word of God and it gives way.
Hallelujah.
