“But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory, even as by the Spirit of the Lord.” – 2 Corinthians 3:18
REFERENCE:
New Testament believers have no veil over their faces, unlike Moses, who wore a veil to hide God’s glory reflected on his face (Exodus 34:29-35). You and I can look at God’s face as we study His word (which reflects His image like a mirror) and reflect the image of His glory to our world. We can share unhindered fellowship with Him and show Him clearly to our world. As the Spirit works in us, we become more like God, and anyone who looks at us can see God in us.
You are called to show forth God’s glory. This glory is like perfume, a sweet aura. When it is on you, it beautifies your life, refines your character, and tempers your emotions until you look and act just like God, revealing His glory and fit for His use. We all are like God’s photo album on earth; each of us is a picture of the different sides of God. With every page turned, men should see God revealed in you – His loving nature, kindness, wisdom, creativity, power, joy, etc. Isaiah 60:1-3 (Message Bible) says, “Get out of bed, Jerusalem! Wake up. Put your face in the sunlight. God’s bright glory has risen for you …His sunrise glory breaks over you. Nations will come to your light, kings to your sunburst brightness.” The glory of God cannot be hidden or covered. It is like ‘honey to ants;’ when God’s glory is on you, you will be so outstanding that Kings and people will come to you, and nations will come to the brightness of your shinning.
God’s glory can be tangible. God’s glory upon Solomon manifested as wisdom and excellence. His fame went far concerning his God-given glory; it invited royals to him. Glory in the bible often means abundance, substance, riches, wealth, honor, and majesty. When Joseph told his brothers in Genesis 45:13, “…tell my father of all my glory in Egypt, and of all that you have seen…” he meant, tell my father that I am royalty, I am rich, I have great honor and substance.
As you interact with God’s word, I decree that your life will reveal His glory. It will be seen in your children, business, house, appearance, and everything you set your hands to do. It will draw men to your God. It will manifest in tangible blessings, witty inventions, wisdom beyond your age, financial exploits, etc. The glory of God has risen upon you; rise and shine forth glory!
