“Death and life are in the power of the tongue, and those who love it will eat its fruit.” – Proverbs 18:21
REFERENCE:
Proverbs 18:20-21
In the tongue lies the power of life and death. The tongue can open doors of joy and prosperity; if misused, it can open the door of misfortune and losses. The tongue has started wars, broken marriages, destroyed great men and women, and led to scandals; it has also forged strong marriage bonds and great destinies. Man has diverse body parts, but the supremacy of the tongue is irrefutable.
God created the world with His spoken words and made us in His likeness so we can use words to frame our world. In the physical realm, most things begin when we take action, but spiritually, everything begins with the making of declarations. In the bible, we notice that words are the commands that raised the dead, made the lame walk, and healed the sick.
Words are containers of power. Until you release power through words, you will remain a victim in the arena of life. You must make your tongue your ally and not your enemy. Many people have used their tongues to put themselves in difficult situations. Life is like a restaurant; what you order is given to you. So, what ‘menus’ of life are you daily ordering with your tongue – blessings or setbacks, health or sickness, favor or ill luck? The choice is yours!
Several years ago, I wanted to know what it meant to have a million (Nigerian) naira. Nothing around me pointed to the fact that I could have it; however, I engaged the supremacy of the tongue and began to ‘call’ the amount forth every morning. I did this for three months. In the third month, I received a miracle of about One million and sixty-seven thousand naira.
I once desired to have the four-bedroom duplex I was living in. I prayed that the landlord would sell and God would provide the money. I started to declare it every day for months. Soon, the landlord offered to sell it to us, but we could not raise the money. However, a few years later, my wife and I bought/built a four-bedroom duplex. Indeed, God begins everything with words. Take advantage of the supremacy of the tongue and start speaking into your destiny.

PRAYER:
+ I uproot every negative word I have spoken over my life. There shall be a crop failure, and I declare it shall not bear fruit in my life.
+ Every faith-filled word I speak will not fail to do what I have planned for it to do; it will go into the world, carry out my words, and bring in my desired results in Jesus’ name.
