Does this encounter between God and Jeremiah in today’s passage sound familiar to you? Have you ever wondered why we often try to talk ourselves out of doing great things in life? Perhaps, the reason can be found in Jeremiah’s answer to God, “I CANNOT SPEAK, for I AM A YOUTH.” Jeremiah, like most of us in this instance rated his inadequacies above the grace and purpose of God for his life.
Deep down inside you, you feel God prompting you that it is time to go start your own business, go back to school for a higher degree, apply for that exalted position, go into full-time ministry, fulfill your political career, go global with your enterprise, etc., but you keep looking at what you don’t have – your inadequacies and that makes you come up with different excuses.
But one thing you must realize is that, God won’t ask you to do what He has not enabled you to do. His grace is sufficient for you; so instead of making excuses and coming up with reasons why you can’t, just show up and watch GOD SHOW UP for you!
I will like you to know that you are not here by mistake. God intentionally sent you here for a specific task. You are a child born out of due season. You are here for such a time as this. There is no telling to what God has put inside you…no eye has yet seen what you are capable of becoming.
There’s something great God chose you to do – go get it done. Don’t waste time – go get it done. Get all the training you need – but go get it done. Read all the books you should – but go get it done. Don’t ‘over-consult’ your pocket or your pedigree – go get it done. All God is saying today is – GO GET IT DONE!

But when we yield and embrace that power/grace it reveals our God potential.
